+2 streams: Science and Management

Why families choose CLEBS

Four things a family can verify before they enrol.

Both +2 streams on one campus

Science and Management are taught here, so a family does not have to move their child to another school at Grade XI.

Boarding care, not just boarding

A residential operation running alongside every stage of the school, with staff responsible for a child's day from morning study to lights out.

Co-curricular that is actually resourced

Debate, elocution, essay writing, painting, drama, class projects and excursions run as a programme, not as an occasional photo opportunity.

27 years of results

A school running since 2056 BS, with a most recent SEE batch that passed in full and produced two national toppers.

Academic programmes

One school, from age three to Grade XII

Your child does not have to move at Grade XI.

  1. Early years

    ECD

The first classroom. Routine, care and play-based learning, with the youngest children kept closest to their teachers.

  2. Foundation

    Primary

Reading, numeracy and the habits of study, taught in English with class projects and excursions built into the year.

  3. To Grade X

    Secondary, to SEE

The stage the school is publicly measured on, and the one its published results speak to most directly.

  4. Grades XI–XII

    +2 Science

A National Examination Board stream for students heading towards further study in science and technical fields.

  5. Grades XI–XII

    +2 Management

A National Examination Board stream for students heading towards commerce, administration and business study.

Boarding life

Away from home, not away from care

Dormitories and care

Residential accommodation with staff responsible for students outside class hours, across every stage the school teaches.

Meals and nutrition

Meals provided on campus through the boarding operation, on a fixed daily routine.

Health and wellbeing

Day-to-day supervision of students in residence, with the office as the point of contact for families at home and abroad.

Exact routine timings, dormitory details and the boarding fee structure are confirmed with the school office. A virtual tour is planned for a later phase and is not available yet.

School life and co-curricular

More than the timetable

Debate, elocution, essay writing, painting, drama, class projects and excursions — resourced, not decorative.

  • Debate

Students argue a case in front of an audience, and are taught to prepare for it.

  • Elocution

Speaking clearly and from memory, in a second language, before a hall.

  • Essay writing

Written competition across grades, judged and awarded within the school.

  • Painting

Art competitions and themed activity days, from the youngest classes upward.

  • Drama

Stage productions performed for the school and for visiting families.

  • Excursions

Trips out of the classroom, planned into the year rather than added to it.
